β1 family. 2 news networks. And a president who treats mergers like loyalty tests with no regard for the public.β
No plans to yet⦠maybe I should examine my schedule though!

If anyone wants an example of the kind of stuff I wish more Democrats would do when it comes to defending trans rights, look no further than this from @jayapal.house.gov
I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them
Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.
One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didnβt even pay to ensure they got home.

Still looking for this; if anyone has a copy I'd love to chat
A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!
Watching these videos of ICE attacking children, I canβt help but think about how many of these men first practiced their violence in their own homes.
Domestic violence teaches our oppressors to dehumanize the most vulnerable among us.
There's no daylight between the Gestapo and ICE. None. Murdering kidnapping, raping, child molestation, trafficking, beating innocent people. If you have a Rep who isn't calling to abolish immediately then they work for the Gestapo. Anyone who tells you that you're overreacting is one of them too
Not sure if I'm here that week or in NYC... I'll figure it out soon though and let you know!

wow-- amazing!
What an exquisite list... and definitely a bunch that I still have to see! Thanks!
I often tell people online that these are my parents, and finally someone believed me! And then I found myself thinking, well, they sort of ARE my parents.
My short story βWe Are Sorry For Your Sufferingβ - a sci-fi epistolary tale about the end of the world - is the December issue of @onestorymag.bsky.social! Read an excerpt and an interview with me (and/or order a copy!) here. Itβs surprisingly hopeful! one-story.com/product/we-a...
I did NOT get today's NYT Connections right, and I've been apoplectic all day long
I've been busy--did I miss this?
π thank you! Hope youβre having an amazing holiday season.

I got myself one of those recently. No reason, and I have no one to give me presents (or maybe that's the reason). Of course it's nearly gone already
