@fundwipublicschool.bsky.social is the new coalition of students, parents, educators, unions and education associations working to support the lawsuit—and to tell the story of why the state must finally meet its responsibility and fund our schools.
“We have asked the court for nothing more than to hold the Legislature responsible for fulfilling its constitutional obligation – so that every Wisconsin kid has the same opportunity for education regardless of their ZIP code, background, or socioeconomic status.”
“A free and uniform public education is fundamental to our democracy. When schools are underfunded, students lose opportunities and communities suffer. Supporting public education isn’t just good policy – it’s a legal and moral obligation," said Law Forward’s Jeff Mandell.
BREAKING : Law Forward is proud to represent 19 plaintiffs, led by the Wisconsin PTA, in filing suit to hold the Wisconsin Legislature accountable for not meeting its constitutionally mandated obligation to provide all children with an equal opportunity for a sound basic education.

Scott Thompson explains the Madison case on UPFRONT:
"These voters, frankly, are heroes. We don’t know who they voted for, we really don’t care. Our message is no matter where you vote, your vote has value, the right to vote has value, and if it’s taken away, there's going to be a lawsuit."
We're proud to fight for our #democracy and the right to vote. Read what the lead plaintiff in our disenfranchisement case against the City of Madison has to say about this important fight:
