we have beach corn too! and sandwitches, little tarts (empada), overpriced popsicle, shrimp skewers, tapioca flower cookies (biscoito de polvilho), cold tea (chá mate), alcohol, coconut water.. basically whatever people want to sell HAHAAHHA

tbf it COULD have been one of those things, but yeah, beach lesson #1 never eat beach shrimp 😂 (unless it's from a restaurant at the beach)

oh, i forgot to mention that we usually eat it at the beach and the quejo guys walk around with a little thingy to roast them for you
(you can buy it frozen and fry it on a pan at home too)

it's a type of cheese called queijo coalho, like curdled cheese! it's served on a long block, skewered and roasted on site
it doesn't melt, it gets those nice crusts bc of the fire and it's slightly rubbery and chewy :>
i've never had it with honey tho, just plain. there's an oregano version too
