Oh…..
Oh…..
So not only did the US kill children, but they also may have killed the leader of Iran. I cannot stress enough how much I hate my country right now.

Now I wanna make a 3rd one: about rehabilitative vs punitive justice.

This did give me another idea though. I've wanted to make 2 dark anthropology essays: my current one about conversion therapy as an example of social, political and religious justifications for queerphobia, and my next essay about ableism.
/3
Idk, but it's VERY FRIGGIN IRITATING that my parents, other Muslims, and transphobic non-Muslims (though especially the first 2) expect me to not just be ok with this, but also subject myself to this. Srsly I can't bring myself to support persecution of *any* minority group anymore.
/2
Addendum: Downside is I genuinely can't read this news article without getting exasperated or something. Maybe angry?
/1
Well I *guess* I'm pretty glad that I'm doing my conversion therapy essay right now. I mean I also wish I started and finished it waaay earlier but still.

Explain how your argument isn't "disabled people should be sequestered off from society if they can't act normal" please
Agreed but again, coprolalia exists as a symptoms some people with Tourette's have. I don't think he said that slur legitimately.

So yeah I do have dysphoria and want to medically and socially transition due to that, but I also want to socially and medically transition because I simply *like* femininity and a mixed male/female body. That speaks to me more than having an entirely male one.
Fin. /3
Like, the concept of suppressing one's queerness is obviously harmful to queer people, but that suppression is also a microcosm of general suppression non-normative living and being of any kind, which *also* is detrimental to people's mental health.
/2
This is thing I struggle with too. I could tell my parents that I and other trans want to transition purely for medical reasons (I likely have gender dysphoria), and although that is true, it's also true that we - and people in general - just *like* authentic expression.

Dang I should watch this show for nostalgia’s sake lol
Every time I see a report of ICE leaving Minnesota or Minneapolis I think "I wish" because uh, they're still here being assholes & terrorizing people, just not as much in some places but more so in other places best I can tell and of course people are still imprisoned in misery at Whipple & . . . 🧵
The best way to advocate for societal inequality as a positive force is religious justification. That’s why it so hard to fight against unlike other ones, and why many see the only way out as leaving religion altogether
"It's just self destruction lol"
I'd say that - again - you're using the same argumentation as white supremacists, but you said in another reply that there's nothing wrong with that argument, so....yeah idk how to counter this.
Fin. /2
"why do you want to force black people to mix with their oppressors?"
I said nothing about force, but to answer your question:

King Jack the 4th: "I'm saying yes that's what I want, a separate country from them."
JonniBoi: "Ok so an ethnostate. I am diametrically opposed to the concept of an ethnostate considering the history of how those come about and maintain themselves. /1 And before you say "but you'd rather live among racists?", it's scientifically proven that living among and interacting with people who aren't like yourself reduces bigoted attitudes. /2 Obvs more stuff needs to be carried out besides that, but racism is not an inevitable trait of humanity, same goes for any other form of bigotry. Fin. /3"
Fin. /2
King Jack the 4th: "You keep talking about it in the framework of us being part of the United States. Idgaf what their policies are lol. If white people, or any other ethnic group that has historically hated us (read: all of them) want to come in for some reason, each one would be individually vetted"
JonniBoi: ""You keep talking about it in the framework of us being part of the United States." I mean yeah - wait, do you mean like, we should form our own country to do the segregation stuff? "each one would be individually vetted" Oh you mean *creating a black country*, do you?"
King Jack the 4th: "Separate. But. Equal. (although, as happened last time, we will quickly surpass them)"
JonniBoi: "That doesn't answer my question though. You said that you don't care about how the US enacted segregation in practice, and then talked about *vetting* non-black people who want to live among black people. /1 Vetting is a thing done on the national scale, meaning an implication that you want black people to form our own virtually black-only nation-state, or form some kind of semi-autonomous enclave within the US. Fin. /2"
Addendum: They blocked me so I had to go on a separate site to get their reply. I got some of my own too to give context. Read from top-left screenshot to bottom-right.

Yes, enforced race-mixing is bad and often has white supremacist tones. That's separate from advocating for segregation and ethnonationalism.
Fin. /4

"and in colonial multiracial societies, colonized people suffer with miscigenation and get completely wiped out."
"Race-mixing causes us to be wiped out" is literally the same argument white supremacists use.
/3
Also I should add that King Jack the 4th also advocated for creating a whole separate country for African-Americans. I'll see if I can find the post later.
/2
"Almost every race wants to live with their own community, in the whole world is like that"
If you're using this as an argument that segregation is a good thing, this is an argumentum ad populum fallacy.
/1
Like, he explicitly said that segregation is a good thing. That's not "protecting oneself", that's racism - with a different skin color in this case.
Fin. /3
bsky.app/profile/jonn...
Also, this question is in bad faith, because King Jack the 4th specifically spoke about white people (as a demographic) being evil and immoral, and that we should self-segregate. That is an entirely different ideology than protecting oneself.
