If you’re roughly my age, it’s wild to reflect on the optimism for the future Americans felt when Obama was elected — young Americans spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate! — and contrast with what we face today. The falloff over the past 18 years is hard to process.
All I can think about on International Women's Day is how those 150+ young girls killed in the Iran school airstrike might have benefited from a future without the Iranian regime had they not been victims of Trump's war.
An unconscionable atrocity.

Glad this was vetoed. We agree this bill injected politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan. Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed SB1439, which would have created a special “Turning Point” license plate and directed $17 of the $25 fee to Turning Point USA.
The Pentagon is swimming in cash after the last GOP budget. They can’t even pass an audit for their spending. The bill was loaded up with so many earmarks the Pentagon doesn’t even know how to spend it all. But now Trump wants more. No amount of military spending for the war machine is enough.

Part of my disgust and disdain for so many people in this country is that that they are so easily duped. All that fuck has to do is call some egregious bill the “SAVE AMERICA” act and the stupids rush to vote against their own interests, while accusing us of not wanting to “save America”.
Most likely outcome is that asshole dies of old age and leaves everyone else to clean up his mess, capping an 80 year run of never experiencing consequences. Only in America baby!
