I dreamt once of a vast ocean, i was on a raft with a fishing rod, this game reminded me of that heaven my mind cooked up, if I was to be stranded I wouldnt mind it being in a sea like this haunted by vast and ancient powers
8. Paradise Killer
If there is something beyond life id love it to be like this, a soothing paradise but one not without its own darkness, A hazy dream world where the gods and demons are not so different and where the vaporwave aesthetic reigns supreme.
7. Fallout 3
It reminds me of this amazing young man I believed I would spend the rest of my life with, he and this game have never ever left my heart. I wish he and I couldve experienced multiplayer fallout even if it wasnt great, Rest in Peace J. Your mind and soul were brilliant.
6. Stardew Valley
A quiet life on a farm wouldnt work well with my body, but this game lets me live a life i may of lived if born in a different body, I dont have to mourn a dream I can atleast play out in this digital landscape.
5. Destiny
It taught me something valuable, that light doesnt just come from others but from oneself, everyone can carry a torch of hope, and that more importantly no one has to fight battles alone, if anything doing so is self destructive.
4. Balatro
A simple card game but one so endlessly fascinating, one thats got me to train my brain, i feel sharper to a degree after playing it, and continuing to play it and it also helped me regain my passion for clown-ery.
3. Too Many Nights
It may seem goofy, but in a way this game lets me relive a childhood i never lived, one with outlandish, murderious friends in many vibrant colors, a comforting haven for someone who spent most her life isolated even if in a twisted way.
2. Psychopomp
Pompy reminds me that paranoia is unhealthy, but blind trust is just as much a practice of self harm. As someone with her own mental disorders I see myself in her, or a version of myself who never clawed herself out of the depths of distrust.
