This absolutely fits with polling of Reform voters, too: they "support a strongly interventionist, leftwing economic agenda, including nationalising utilities, higher taxes on corporations..." uk.news.yahoo.com/t-just-talk-...

Thank you. This is exactly what I was searching for today.
And, often, uniquely hand-delivered!
Unless I've missed something, Caroline Lucas has stayed horribly quiet about this too. So disappointing.
@incurablehippie.bsky.social Read the thread and the gorious comments!
I'm so, so sorry. This is heart-breaking and enraging.
Biggest commitment to a 3 second joke I've ever seen
I listen to a ton of podcasts of all shapes and sizes, and Stakeknife is one of the most brilliant. It's not an easy listen at many points, but it tells a vitally important story in UK and Irish history in a sensitive, respectful and engaging way, with a ton of nuance and context. 10/10
But couldn't you? I have friends who have improved a lot through singing lessons with good, trusted teachers.
Oh, amazing!
I highly recommend this podcast! Both episodes so far have been a creepy delight.

This offer of free gallery/studio space in the old Hillsborough Wilko's in Sheffield is far too big in scale and scope for my brain, but I'm intrigued to see what happens. Please share with creative/artistic parties!
If this is up your street, be sure to subscribe to Pattern Club's mailing list & visit their site to find out more: patternclub.org/sheffield/ They've had workshops on Strudel, synths and all sorts of algorithm- and pattern-related things. They also host Algoraves and other live-coding events 💻 🎶
If you're into music or coding (or both!), I highly recommend taking a look at Strudel, which is designed to be as accessible as possible. It's in-browser and has learning resources built into it so you can start making music immediately: strudel.cc/workshop/getting-started/
The robots are also coded in Strudel, and the accompanying music is the movements transposed into sound! Here's a great robot made by my workshop neighbour before we added sound.
I've been lucky enough to start the year doing Pattern Club's (@patternclubsheff.bsky.social) Winter School. Last weekend, we got familiar with strudel.cc/ & Carnatic rhythms, and this weekend, incredibly, we learnt about Flamenco and made weird robots! (Pencil case = a weight!)
Fantastic hilariously terrible robots:
From LEAST WORST infestation to WORST, I should clarify. No one has a favourite infestation.
I'm now thinking back fondly, jealously and sadly about the days when I allowed myself time for such rabbit-holing. The backlog of blogs I have in my head is ridiculous, and even includes a list of the various house infestations I've lived through, ranked.
When a previous iceberg threatened the island in late 2020, my ignorance of what and where South Georgia is took me down an amazing rabbit hole: jessghost.com/home/south-georgia
There's a 3,500 sq km iceberg (the world's largest) heading towards the island of South Georgia, threatening the wildlife of this amazing and important conservation area. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
