I’ve heard stories, but it’s hard to tell what’s fact or fiction. Old members seem content with their projects and the new breed of the line-up are enjoying themselves so it’s a win-win in some respects. It’s just not for me as a fan.

I really do wish them well and it’s not really a complaint. More of a person decision. I’ve heard so many stories that I don’t know what’s fact or fiction in The Wildhearts camp. One thing’s for sure, no-one can say it’s ever been boring!

I can’t buy into the current version of The Wildhearts. I mean, I know members from both sides of the coin and I wish everyone well, but it’s not grabbing me. I get that things evolve and maybe I’m stuck in the dark ages. Hey, it would be shit if we all liked the same thing.

I think it’s a great song. I only counted 3 chords, too. Love everything about it, right down to the sound on the drummer’s toms. I’ve dipped in and out of his career. Liked some bits and then other bits were a bit meh. If he’s the ultimate current pop pin-up, we could do a whole lot worse.
