Tis the season! ๐ฒ๐
Does anyone know any English lecturers in the South East/London who would be willing to speak with me?
Thanks - It's a brilliant play.
Anyone teach 'She Stoops to Conquer ' ?
Spot on!
I really liked Pachinko - I recently read 'Ghost Ship' by Kate Mosse - It's a generational saga of one family with each member taking the batton in each era, so to speak - but can be read as a stand alone - I would recommend.
I've been thinking about the social media revision 'thing' where our most vulnerable kids reach for anything and everything in a desperate bid to pass exams - often buying only snake oil.
Anyone ever compiled a list of 'viewer beware' channels/sites?
**I've no interest in starting a witch hunt.
Sounds good, I'm looking forward to reading it. The multiple narrative/time approach sounds similar to 'North Woods' by Daniel Mason,.that I've also been looking at. ๐
Any good so far?
Lots of good books out this week - I can't choose:
The Odyssey by Stephen Fry
Graveyard Shift by M.L Rio
We Solve Murders - Richard Osman
There are Rivers in the Sky - Elif Shafak (already out)
I can't decide. ๐๐ค
