My colleagues at ACRLog wrote short tributes to the life and work of Fobazi Ettarh @fobettarh.bsky.social. I wrote about her work on disability, which I think deserves more recognition. acrlog.org/2026/03/04/t...
Thanks @ezerrenner.bsky.social for coordinating. #CripLib #VocationalAwe

Glad to hear it! Mid-week tickets are quite cheap, or when you're able to buy tickets more than a month out. Be aware that there's no wifi on this route (like most of their long distance routes). Let me know if you have any questions!
Violet, a middle aged white lady with glasses and a blue face mask, sits next to a window on a train. Winter trees are visible through a dirty window.
Another ride on Amtrak, from Minnesota back to Chicago. Bought this trip with Amtrak points, which are a very good deal compared to airline miles. Grateful for this route. π
That sounds awesome!

if you are using social media primarily as an outlet for channeling and dissipating outrage instead of as a means to connect and organize outside of it, you are playing into the very design of these platforms which is to keep everyone locked in unending cycles of impotent rage
Make a zine about your feelings and things you think people can do and join you to do to help. Make an emotional zine. Make a zine about questions you want to ask people to think on during these times. Make a poetry zine about the realities we live through but hardly take the time to feel through.
Want to help make #CZF2026 happen? We're having a new organizers orientation on Weds March 18th at 7 pm Central. Register for this online meeting at syr-2u-com.zoom.us/meeting/regi.... We're excited to welcome in new organizers!! #zines

This is SO COOL β a lost MΓ©liΓ¨s film from 1895 in which a person plays a briefly out of control robot. How timely. So glad some of my tax dollars are still going to stuff like this
Framed red, white and pink cross-stitch by fjordski that reads "Fuck ICE", with the word "Fuck" in Arabic, sitting against some plants
ICE is still active in MN, neighbors are sheltering for safety, aid has slowed down, and rent is due in MN shortly. Can you take action with us to support our communities?
We will gift this beautiful framed cross-stitch by @fjordski.bsky.social to one person who takes action! Read on for more info.
Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.
also, with love and respect for my friends and colleagues who do great work at large national LGBTQ orgs
...they do not need your money and they will not use it efficiently to defend the most marginalized queer and trans people
plz panic-give to the frontlines & mutual aid orgs, not the big NGOs
