Bodily autonomy does not end with a diagnosis.
This new law gives terminally ill New Yorkers the option, never the obligation, to ease unbearable suffering and make their own decisions at life’s end with dignity, compassion, and peace of mind. 💖
Attacks on abortion are attacks on public health. Full stop.
Bottom line: The budget includes important investments, but more work remains.

⚠️ Funding for key programs like the Reproductive Freedom & Equity Program, Reproductive Health Care Improvement Program + Family Planning Grants, saw no increase despite federal uncertainty.
