Home sweet home

After Cuba the Atlanta airport is so overwhelming.

Back from Cuba. Amazing trip, amazing people. Lots of thoughts but too tired to write much. More later.

Got a few minutes of internet. Now in Vinales Cuba. Beautiful country, amazing people. I wish relations were normal as I’d love to spend more time here

Landed in MIA at 1:30 am, three hours sleep at airport hotel and now sucking down coffee. Cuba here I come!

Also headed to Cuba, so will be off grid for a bit. Hope all is still ok when I rejoin the world!

Sigh. Ran over something and blew out a tire

For the past month I have been listening to one of the top 500 albums according to Rolling Stone. Highly recommend. Finding new to me music and starting day with music helps mood greatly!

Every morning as soon as I open even one eye, I get full body hugs and lots of kisses, aka licks, from this one. Best way to wake up!

Happy news today. My dad is improving daily (had a stroke about 2 months ago). He’s got a ways to go but daily improvement is wonderful

Making plans to go on a safari in September. Long range plans . . .

Fiancé can’t come home this weekend. Is it bad that I am looking forward to quiet weekend with pups, books and wine?

Ok my feed here is mostly pups, cats, pics of moon and books. Feels like I just sat in the most comfy chair!
