and also, as time has gone on, people have come and gone from the series, and the design choices have slowly drifted over time, and so I feel like modern pokemon is very very different from what it used to be
I don't even feel like gen 6-10 are a coherent unit, things change so much between games
part of that, I think, of course, is that the first four generations were all set in japan, but the fact that they were in japan wasn't necessarily a big focus. if you know they're in japan, you can feel that influence, but each subsequent generation has been very location focused
I feel like pokemon generations 1-4 are like, a cohesive unit, in terms of design and aesthetics, all the characters and environments and music and pokemon all feel like they go together fully, and then gen 5 was a soft reboot, and then everything else since has felt very different, I think

idk how people who are into big budget big graphics games do it I have a small handful of them I've been playing lately and I feel like I gotta do them one at a time cause they're So Much yknow. they're all too big lol
and like. the more realistic they get the more that stuff stands out, and gives the whole thing such an odd but unique and iconic feel. nothing else is doing it quite like resident evil lol
I'm a big fan of the way that despite going more and more in on extreme realistic graphics the resident evil series has not compromised on its goofy video game-y mechanics, like weird contrived architecture that serves only to facilitate puzzles
once I'm finished with Super Climb Up!! I think I'm gonna start another youtube channel where I just talk about whatever, I keep getting comments from people saying they aren't super interested in racing games but that they like my voice and they'd listen to me talk about anything hehehe

I wanna get some new graphic t-shirts this year so I was looking through them in the women's section and they all tend to be like. really 'girly' for the most part. if you want anything else it's in the men's section
I often hear men's fashion disparaged for various reasons, but I will say, if you're looking for graphic t-shirts the men's section usually has the better selection
