Right?! It makes no sense to me to be opposed to creating a safe table. My ttrpg actual play channel is called No Safe Rolls. Because the dice gods like to fuck us. Safety from dice and player consent are two different topics.

This is a wild take. I got this reply after posting in a Vampire: the Masquerade group looking for GMs & STs. Safety tools makes sure our players can experience personal horror in a trusting & safe environment. Forcing your players to experience something they don’t consent to exploring is not okay.
