I also think there were a lot of concerns about me adding a ton of custom assets and whatnot that they had issues with, but I'm not sure. I think the question of "ownership" of the assests obtained through Fragment / IMOQ concerned them.
Do you know what a C&D is? A Cease and Dissest. It means they contacted me and told me I could not legally release this project.
To my understanding, this was due to them misunderstanding my Patreon / Itch page thinking the fan game was related (somehow)
Rest in piece to the .hack fan game I spent about three years developing.
Custom models, New Maps / Zones / Hubs, Voice acting, unique Animations, all that jazz.
Couldn't be more excited to see my favorite franchise return though.

TL;dr - Dude who praises my free asset dumps is now calling me "offended" and "angry" because I said I thought the idea of mixing in AI-Generative submissiosn and Non-AI submissions to an RPGMaker award show was a bad idea considering how /r/RPGMaker is mostly an AI slop sub lol.
The idea of so many people wanting to force Generative-AI into the RPGMaker community so aggressively when the reality is none of those AI-RPGMaker games actually succeed is insane. Being constantly dogpiled by Pro-AI people on /r/RPGMaker for talking about Dev stuff of it sucks.
