also shoutout to management for getting all new locks including a deadbolt on this door so i don’t have to stress about her jumping on the door and breaking out 🙌🏻

i can’t unfortunately, it’s detecting the motion on the other side of my front porch fencing, blocking it out would also eliminate where someone is standing at my front door 😭 the trail is just in the perfect position in the distance lol

maya is a big fan of the view and people / pet watching ✨

in a sad turn of events the only way i can position my security camera towards my front door from the interior gives me a motion alert every time someone is passing by on the trail below as well 😂

i wouldn’t be surprised if costco does something similar too! it’s about a 10% discount!

hotpoint? never heard of it before lol. it’s an apartment sized smaller one. there were three different brackets and pins screwed / bolted in, but it needed a special bit for the screws that were like a 6 point vs a classic phillips screw? (shout out to my contractor dad for the tool set up)

it took four tools and of course none of them could be a simple screwdriver 😤

you can change which direction a refrigerator and freezer door opens, can’t you? this fridge is set up to open on the left pulling to door into the tiny kitchen instead of from the right opening towards the bigger dining room 🤔

so now there’s just an oversized chair sitting in my dining room making where i was going to put my desk and set up very cramped lol

welp my couch + oversized chair set doesn’t fit in the living room so i thought i’ll just drag the oversized chair to the spare bedroom and store it there but it doesn’t fit through the doorway because the back cushion doesn’t detach 😭

if anyone wants one last roommate eye roll, when we returned from picking up the uhaul he had food in the air fryer. he must’ve heard us return because his food finished within a couple minutes but he left it in there for over an hour instead of getting it and returning to his room LMAO
