It is my version of Groundhog Day. I go find the sun and warm weather for a week and then I get the needed boost to get through the rest of winter.

What do you do if there have already been 2 snow days this week and you actually want/need there not to be another and it is STILL snowing?
This spot sits just east of Holland, my hometown. I used to drive this route a lot. The lake effect whiteouts would appear like walls in the distance. Inside was blinding whether day or night. I remember the routine: flipping on the hazard lights, driving white knuckled, and praying until Exit 55.
I grew up in Hudsonville just over a month ago was driving from Ann Arbor to Holland in a snowstorm and chose to take Chicago drive just to avoid that part of the highway.
The other day as I contemplated whether one resubmits a “Competitive-ND” or does a new submission… I thought at least I’m wearing corduroys again.
Don’t forget your corduroys. I bought 2 pairs recently 😊.
