Cursed Words (Nextfest demo)

I'm still playing through this but I've completed two runs, and as someone who enjoys staring at a grid considering what the best move to make is (thanks chess) and word games (thanks Bookworm Adventures), this game is definitely up my niche little alley.

Awaysis (Nextfest demo)

This game feels like something you'd find on Xbox Live Arcade for 20 bucks and you and some friends would get some good arcadey fun out of it. Very interesting feel for a co-op brawler! I'd like to give it another shot with more friends.

This game's visual direction and music fucks heavy. Played through this a couple times and I knew I had to back the kickstarter.

I hope whenever this game drops proper, it makes waves in the indie space because I think Troopsushi is makin something really special here.

Bojack Horseman

This should've technically been the start of the thread, seeing as I finished the series January 9th, but I guess I'll rectify that by adding it now.

I didn't get into the series sooner cus of the style, but honestly I grew to really appreciate it while watching. Excellent show!

Into the Unwell playtest

didn't get to play the first playtest months back but managed to snag an invite to the recent one about a month ago.

It's alright. Animations are pretty good and despite it being a game balanced for co-op play, the majority of my time was played solo and it was fairly fun.

Moomin and Midsummer Madness

this was also on the lineup in the same night as yellow submarine, and is the first moomin thing I've ever watched.

Gunstar Super Heroes
Mistakenly buying the cartridge for this thinking this was the original Gunstar Heroes, I was met with its sequel
and regardless of the mixup, it's still pretty good! Fairly short though.

Catching up with Chaotix Case Files has been pretty fun

I really do hope there are some quality animatics of these, there's lots of good moments I can picture

Coming off the excitement of Tangle and Whisper getting voices, I went back to fully illustrate an old Riders Tangle sketch I did awhile ago for this special occasion. It was really fun to stream the process from start to finish.

Pretty interesting horror film. The score does a good job at creating tension, I liked Julia Garner's role, and I'm generally a fan of the plot structure in the first half.

Wasn't super amazed by the ending though.
