I recently added a new boss to my game’s demo – The Bishop. He mixes close-range melee, a thrown staff when you keep distance, mid-range projectile spreads, and a teleport straight onto the player to punish bad positioning. It’s the holiday season, so naturally I added Doomsday Santa to my DOOM-inspired Brotato-like. The demons were naughty this year, so he came to punish them as a giant Snowball, freezing everything in his path ❄️

Also, in Act II you unlock a new Crux mechanic – a full skill tree for the cross in the center of the level. Its aura can buff you, debuff enemies and do a bunch of other cool things. The Crux absorbs souls you don’t pick up during fight, adding a new layer of strategy: upgrade yourself or the Crux.

Too bad you fell on wave 10! Try experimenting with weapon synergies and slotting one weapon into another – that’s where the real fun begins ;)

Huge thanks for playing Arms of God! Metaprogression unlocks in Act II – all the silver you collected is used to rebuild HUB buildings, which let you swap modules, get permanent character upgrades, and tons of other stuff. Like you said, it wouldn’t be a roguelite without meta.
