Loved getting a different view of Edinburgh today. One of my favourite wee bits of our city is the "teapot" that sits halfway down castle rock and overlooks the railway.

The Celtic Cross in the garden of St John's Kirk at the Wend of Princes St.

This beautiful Granite cross is inlaid with bronze relief and was built in 1879 to honour Dean Ramsay - a very philanthropic minister of the kirk.

I loved the castle's blue matching the gloaming sky
