Sisters Vs chaos started slowly with 2 gunlines, until Abaddon and his terminators dropped in.

A very aggressive and fast paced game here with over half of each army dead by the end of turn 2.

This week has been all about #warhammer40k We had 2 large games - ultramarines Vs harlequins and black legion Vs sisters of battle. Both ended with wins for the imperium factions. We also had a couple 500pt games of space marines Vs Tyranids. #burtonbanter #wargaming

A fun game of Barons' war ended with one player's baron being shot by archers on turn 4 (after previously failing all his morale tests).

Also this week we had a couple of #warhammer40k battles - 500pts of Tyranids Vs ultramarines, and 1500pts of Tyranids Vs Death watch. And more Barons' war being played.

Yes, the marines won the shoot off. But I think if we used objectives or missions, it might have been a different story. Something to try next time.

One team (space marines) was using 'future' era, reducing numbers to increase boost points to make them more elite. Second team (Tyranids) ran as 'C.20' era, this armour/weapon level felt right.

Thanks to @afour.games for suggesting this set of rules. Players had fun and we'll definitely be playing this again. Next time we'll be more organised with the Conditional Effect tracking but the rules were simple enough for the players to understand and play in a single session.

We had 2 games played this week - a matchup between the ultramarines and Tyranids in our #warhammer40k #crusade, with the ultramarines picking up the victory thanks to some appalling Tyranid dice rolling. And a small 'run-through' game of Konflikt 47 #konflikt47

We also had another #warhammer40k #crusade game running - a big ultramarines Vs emperor's children battle, which ended in a space marine victory.
