Celebrating Arbor Day in Rohnert Park. π³
Thanks to the volunteers who came out to plant trees. In between campaign calls and door knocking, it was nice to spend a little time planting seeds for the future.

Had a great time at the Marin Democratic Party's Raginβ Cajun Friday night in San Rafael. So good to see friends, connect with folks from across Marin, and celebrate the work ahead together.
March is Womenβs History Month. Iβm proud to have the support of Assemblymember Liz Ortega.
A longtime labor leader, Liz served as statewide political director for AFSCME Local 3299 and became the first Latina to lead the Alameda Labor Council.
Itβs Womenβs History Month. Throughout the month Iβm highlighting women supporting our campaign and breaking barriers in public service. Honored to have the support of Assemblymember Mia Bonta, a lifelong advocate for students and working families.
Thank you to the Young Democrats at Santa Rosa Junior College for inviting me to share about my campaign for State Assembly tonight. Inspired by students stepping up to protect our democracy and get involved.
Womenβs History Month is about lifting up leaders who break barriers. Proud to have the support of State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas, co-founder of the nationβs first Black Worker Center and a champion for workers across California.
Sonoma County Democratic Crab Feed in the books. We celebrated the Prop 50 win and are already focused on the midterms. Congratulations to the awardees, and thank you Chairman Greg Sarris and the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria for the one ton of crab. Shell yeah.
Honored to earn the endorsement of the California Young Democrats, the official youth arm of the CA Democratic Party. Young leaders across our state are organizing for bold change, and Iβm proud to stand with them.
I came to the U.S. in 2003. It took years of paperwork, fees, and uncertainty before I became a citizen 13 years ago today.
I know how fear driven ICE policies hurt families.
In the Assembly, I will defend immigrant families and strengthen sanctuary protections.
Proud to be endorsed by the North Bay Building Trades Council.
Iβve taken hits for standing with the trades and Iβll take them again. I support strong PLAs, prevailing wage, and real labor standards.
If we build in the North Bay, we build it right.
Heβs from the Bay, he reps it hard. Thank you, LaRussell, for coming to our local Black Joy Fest yesterday and bringing that energy. Black joy is resilience. Itβs resistance. Itβs community. Grateful for everyone who showed up and celebrated with us.
During Black History Month, Iβm honored to earn the endorsement of the California Legislative Black Caucus for AD12. Grateful for the trust and ready to keep moving our communities forward.
Proud to stand with Teamsters Local 2010 on strike at Sonoma State. You cannot give executive raises while denying fair pay to the electricians, plumbers, and mechanics who keep the lights on.
I was proud to join Teamsters 856 and the California Nurses Association on the picket line at MarinHealth Medical Center today.
Healthcare workers deserve a fair contract, affordable healthcare, and safe staffing. It is always an honor to stand with working people, especially my Teamster family.
Great night in Rohnert Park and Cotati. The Chamber Crab Feed brought out our State Senator, Rohnert Parkβs former Assemblymember, and so many local leaders supporting small businesses. Then I headed to St. Josephβs and ended the night dancing with community members.
Last night at the Petaluma Historical Museum was special. Petaluma Blacks for Community Development created a powerful exhibit honoring local Black history and the leaders who shaped our community. As we celebrate Black History Month, weβre also focused on the future weβre building together.
Today I officially pulled nomination papers to run for Assembly District 12, and Iβm excited to continue listening, building relationships, and earning the trust of communities across Marin and southern Sonoma County.
California will not allow this federal government to take away essential healthcare for women. Healthcare is a right & we will continue our fight to protect healthcare access for all Californians.
Another firefighter endorsement: Professional Fire Fighters of Sonoma County, IAFF Local 1401.
They represent the firefighters and paramedics serving Santa Rosa, Sonoma County Fire District, Rancho Adobe, Gold Ridge, Graton, Shell Vista, and Northern Sonoma County.
Grateful for their support!
WE'RE GETTING JACKIE ON A FIRETRUCK
π₯ Honored to be endorsed by California Professional Firefighters. This support is deeply personal. Both of my brothers in law are firefighters in Assembly District 12, and I know how much this work demands. Iβm grateful for their trust.
It was good to be with so many community members and local leaders last night at State Senator Mike McGuireβs congressional kickoff. Mike has long been a thoughtful, committed leader for the North Bay, and the turnout spoke volumes.
Her Bold Move has endorsed our campaign. They back women candidates who take bold positions to protect reproductive freedom, bodily autonomy, and womenβs safety, especially in this moment. Grateful to have the support of a growing coalition of women-led organizations pushing real change.
Our campaign is building real momentum. Over the second half of 2025, we raised more than any other candidate in AD 12. That momentum carried to the CADEM pre endorsement conference, where the vote was deadlocked and we earned 1 out of every 3 delegate votes. THANK YOU!
Encouraging signs for the campaign of @caworkingfamilies.bsky.social endorsed candidate @jackieelward.bsky.social! I look forward to voting for her this June.
Honored to earn the endorsement of California Womenβs List. They support women who fight for equity, reproductive freedom, and dismantling systems of oppression. Proud to stand with an intersectional feminist organization electing women across California.
Grateful to join the Sonoma County API Democratic Club for their New Year lunch. We talked about turnout and momentum, when Asian American voters show up, they can shift outcomes, and in the year of the horse weβre building that energy.
In 2022 I managed the campaign to unseat Supervisor David Rabbitt, the rightmost member of the Sonoma County BoS. Alas, we came up short.
It's 2026, and a new challenger has appeared: the beloved Joanna Paun. More info to come, but her donation form is live: secure.actblue.com/donate/joann...
Thank you to Supervisor Coursey for taking a courageous stand against cooperating with ICE. I call on every AD12 supervisor to do the same, and when elected I will fight to stop ICE from operating freely in California and enforce state law when agents overstep. www.pressdemocrat.com/2026/01/21/s...
Pleased to see WFP and DSA endorsed candidates emerging here in California!
WFP has endorsed @jackieelward.bsky.social for State Assembly D12 and @thisisjanekim.bsky.social for Insurance Commissioner.
And DSA Kern County has endorsed @oliverma2026.bsky.social for Lt Gov.
