I was able to taste it this year. It's very good! Now I understand:)

Last week to survive..
That's a cool technique! Reminds me of photobashing in a way, but instead of photos you actually paint your materials, which is more traditional & true to the craft. (Does that make sense?)
Btw I've been wondering a while, how do you make these? Do you just have fun with acrylic/ink then scan it and edit some more? Genuinely curious.
I was speaking in a more general sense and I often fall in this category as well but ngl seeing your comment does spark a small joy inside me haha
Although blsky is a much friendlier place for artists, I often see posts with a ton of likes and reblogs, but very few comments. Nowadays I try to leave a comment on the cool stuff I see here and I encourage everyone to do the same:) Lets build that community we're all missing!
Beautiful!

I personally think that you are quite good at it.

These are delightful!
I hope it is. Thank you for your support!
The good news is that I have savings so... I decided to take a year off of trying to find another corporate job or clients and I'll focus on my personal projects/comics instead. I have this "now or never" feeling. No more excuses.
The bad news is that I got laid off from my art job. Which isn't that surprising due to the current climate of things...
Well, I have bad news and good news.
Second this^
So delicate! Especially the second one.
The art depicts a teenage angel with long wings and a prosthetic arm. He holds brushes and spray cans for graffiti. It is surrounded by skeletons of archaic fish and metal pipes. On the background is a tyrannosaurus skull with cherubs and Old Testament angels painted on it.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 132678:
You don't need to write every day: you just need to keep your imagination alight. Feed it with books, with art, with films and theatre. That way it will always be ready when you need it.
Illustration by KitsuneArt, limited colour palette (blue/green and red). Frodo and Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings book and movie, sitting in the ruins of Moria. On top of their heads Gandalf's words, handwritten by KitsuneArt: "all we have to decide is that to do with the time that is given to us".
"I wish none of this had happened."
"So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
I mean, soon I won't even need to worry about chasing my dreams or not, bc the world will most likely go to war, so idk why I even exist.
I mean I don't mind keeping my old PC (that's getting 10 yrs old) for a few more years, bc it works just fine, but If it happens to break down when I need to budget, bc I quit my fulltime job to chase my dreams, well, that would be very painful...
What do you mean a graphic card now cost more than half of a whole PC a few years ago?
reminder that you can replace three (or more) distinct brush sizes with a single one if you do this sort of thing (without the fiddliness and exhaustion of having to carefully maintain three specific ranges of pressures, like you would on brushes that usually have a straight diagonal line in here)
