Yorkshire Dales sheep and cattle swap boosts biodiversity - studies Natural England began switching to cattle grazing at its Ingleborough site in the Dales in 2004.

Researchers found that replacing sheep with cattle at a site in the Yorkshire Dales - as part of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's Wild Ingleborough project - saw plant diversity increase by more than 40% and the number of butterflies increased.

The climate crisis is a food crisis, but “The UK is one of the least food self-sufficient countries in Europe.” Nor do we stockpile food the way other countries do, making us very vulnerable to shocks in a very centralised system.

Westminster Voting Intention, sourced from Find Out Now between four March and six March, displays a bar chart of five political parties and their respective support levels. Reform UK is in the lead at twenty-seven percent, which is an increase of one percentage point since twenty-five February. The Green Party holds second place at twenty-one percent, representing an increase of three percentage points. The Conservative Party follows at seventeen percent, showing a decrease of one percentage point. The Labour Party stands at fifteen percent with no change in their standing since the previous poll. Finally, the Liberal Democrats are at ten percent, reflecting a decrease of two percentage points.

The funding gap between Reform UK and the Greens is astounding.

New Electoral Commission stats today reveal the reportable donations in Q4 2025:

🟢 Green Party: £189,010
🟣 Reform UK: £5,456,000

Greens are bringing in barely 3.5% of Reform UK's large donations - but still polling around 20%.
