What remains of a pot of rich brown gumbo. About 3/4 of it already gone. Looks tasty.

For a party, I made gumbo with extra roux so it would be rich, and baby okra (whole instead of sliced, makes it less sticky), chicken, turkey- and beef-based sausage, scallops, and shrimp. On the side, I made a "jambalaya-adjacent" dish with riced vegetables instead of rice, to be keto-friendly.
