Many, many years ago I went for a Synology NAS and added Emby to it. Bought the lifetime license for Emby and it's been running without any issue or any need for my attention for about 4 years now. I especially like the fact that I never spend any time on configuration anymore.

And yet.... USB-4 = USB-4 = USB-4.
Any port or cable claiming USB-4 has to abide by the same (complete) set of standards and functionality.
