The way a room welcomes someone done explaining himself. Fire doesn't question. Walls hold no judgments. Light grazes gently β without opinion.
Stripped bare: rawest nakedness... or truest armor? ποΈ
Whatβs true vulnerability for you?

The binary runs deep β sexual or functional, never just present. It feels like we built whole systems to keep βexisting nakedβ off the table. Maybe the algorithm didnβt invent that reflex. Maybe it just inherited it

The strange thing is that the fear doesnβt go away. You just learn that it was never a reason to stop.
Thank you for putting that so clearly π€

Today β like this.
Are you afraid of being seen
or afraid that what they see
will turn out to be exactly you?
#selfportrait #artnude
Sometimes being myself feels a little scary β I have features society quietly suggests I should hide. But these things are both special and completely ordinary. Body shapes, sizes, skin, hair β or no hair β so many people share what feels like βtoo muchβ or βnot enough.β Both are fine β€οΈ
actually that's what surprised me β
how similar the reflex is
in both cases.
Thank you, Marco.
Your self-portraits in the cabin β
floor, mirror, window to open water β
have the same quality but inverted:
total stillness inside, everything moving outside.
Interesting how the same body
means completely different things
depending on where you grew up.
Some cultures never developed that reflex.
Which suggests it can be undone.
I find this interesting rather than frustrating.
The algorithm is doing the work too.
We're just at different stages.
I self-label as nudity.
Moderation adds "sexual content."
I appeal. It gets changed back.
The same reflex I study in myself β
sees a naked body and decides what it means
before actually looking.
Where does that reflex come from?

sony a7c ii + 55/1.8, first session.
self-portraits are mostly what I make.
so "testing new gear" always comes back
to the same question:
does this camera get out of the way
and let me see?

I started shooting nude self-portraits
because I noticed how much energy
I spend just managing how i look.
not performing. just quietly managing.
even when I'm alone.
the camera doesn't fix that.
but it makes it harder to ignore.
what do you quietly manage
when no one is watching?
Itβs not about moods.
Itβs quieter than that β the way your chest loosens when they walk in. The air shifts. Something in you settles.
Thatβs the frequency.
26.02.26
When you live with someone, you share more than space.
You don't catch their mood β you catch their frequency.
One passes. The other rewires you slowly, from the inside.
Bare and thorny. Still changing the room.
Ever felt it?

Different seasons leave different traces. Morning light, no explanation. The body keeps its own record.
What is your body holding this winter?
