Sometimes being myself feels a little scary – I have features society quietly suggests I should hide. But these things are both special and completely ordinary. Body shapes, sizes, skin, hair – or no hair – so many people share what feels like “too much” or “not enough.” Both are fine ❤️

how similar the reflex is
in both cases.

have the same quality but inverted:
total stillness inside, everything moving outside.

Interesting how the same body
means completely different things
depending on where you grew up.

Some cultures never developed that reflex.
Which suggests it can be undone.

I find this interesting rather than frustrating.

The algorithm is doing the work too.
We're just at different stages.

I self-label as nudity.
Moderation adds "sexual content."
I appeal. It gets changed back.

The same reflex I study in myself —
sees a naked body and decides what it means
before actually looking.

I started shooting nude self-portraits
because I noticed how much energy
I spend just managing how i look.

not performing. just quietly managing.
even when I'm alone.

the camera doesn't fix that.
but it makes it harder to ignore.
