S.F. immigration courts gutted: 21 judges down to 2 after planned departures At the start of last year, San Francisco's two immigration courts had 21 judges. By mid-March there will just be two left.

San Francisco's immigration courts have been gutted.

Two more judges are planning to leave, Mission Local has learned, meaning the courts will be down from 21 judges last year to just two.

That pushes court dates out, & costs up, for asylum-seekers.
