If you have a switch 2 and are into cozy titles, Pokomo is for sure a strong recommend. Honestly if you told me 2 months ago the random Pokomo would be serious GOTY for family titles, I would have laugh. Now, I can see it.

There is so much to enjoy about the game, and I can see how many people would love the title, and I see the vision and KT cooked. But IDK it isn't the perfect game for me. Though I will say it is way better than NH, but NH has this aura that has me attached to it. Probably Stockholm Syndrome.
And for me, I like chill games, but I like semi-factory style games (I couldn't get into Satisfactory, the space elevator ruined it for me). I like mass producing resources so I don't need to stress about resources, and optimizing the supply chain. So yeah... I had a massive berry field.
Graphics are alright, and it has everything a chillax game should strive to be (though the endgame got a little grindy). It does what a lot of good games should do, have me question my gaming habits and what I seek in gaming.
It gets super daunting though as time goes on. There are a lot of pokemon you have to bring into a habitat (some are basic like plant flowers, others get crazy like having a bunch of furnature be arranged in a specific way). I am not looking forward to 100% this game to make my $70 more worth it.
The game is very much more into the creative side of things. Gather resources and mine into the earth and environment, then craft new items to give to your pokemon friends. It is really a peaceful Minecraft with its block aesthetic, but with AC vibes of talking to your villagers.
Since the game is brand new, I will be keeping spoilers to a minimum, but it is a game that you really want to explore, and there are some stuff you should discover for yourself. Funny how the part I liked the most I can't talk about. FTWK
Game #2 of 2026: Pokemon Pokopia.
This is a very good game, it has so much in the game that would lead to such an enjoyable experience, but sadly it didn't click as well with me, mostly because I am more into other types of games than Pokopia, but it has some damn good sauce.

Like, instead of making cute buildings, instead I like building furnace farms, massive crop fields for food, and those sort of things. Maybe why Stardew got me so sucked in a week ago. Satisfactory without turning my PC into an engine as I let the game coast overnight.
I feel so incredibly mixed on Pokopia. The game is fun to explore, and build, make pokemon happy, and rebuild habitats. I very VERY much see the vision and why it is seriously GotY for at least best family game material. But idk, it isn't clicking as much for me. I guess I enjoy resource gathering.
Finished recording my next Skyrim challenge run, and it is so stupid it is fun. Things got ridiculous near the end and I ended up going after a couple super difficult encounters and cheesing them. Also Cheese is the theme of the run!
Oh yeah. I was going to record a fallout 4 run next, but I was looking at the mods for Skyrim and I found the stupidest thing. And it will come out close to april 1...
I just want to cheese the game with insanity ok!
I want to record a new challenge run today, but with thunderstorms in the area, I am going to play it safe and just play Pokopia instead
Managed to finish editing the next challenge run, and for once I didn't struggle making a thumbnail. I hated the recording, but the video itself is super fun to watch albeit demented as usual.

and with that, I have 100% Stardew valley. I still really love Stardew, and I have a new appreciation to the game, after quite a few QoL updates were implemented (artifacts weren't a bugger). And the day after the 10th anniversary celebration to boot!
It seems the event items—the Aurora and Mystic Tickets—used to access Deoxys and Ho-Oh & Lugia in FireRed & LeafGreen are unlocked upon defeating the Elite Four in the Switch release.
It's not like Mega Dimension was one of the worst pokemon experiences of all time or anything.
I ended up giving my sheriff a machine gun. Just something so I don't give myself more of a killer migraine. But at least, I only have one more achievement, then I am free to go modding for pain
I am cutting my loses with this achievement. I am having a killer migraine from stressing about this achievement. Either I wait for potentially a Qi Reward in 1.7 to make the game easy, or download a mod, this is not good for my health.
I Fucking Despise Journey of the Prairie King in Stardew. The Fucking Fector's Challenge is the worst achievement in Stardew and is the antithesis of the game. The game is frustrating, and having to do it deathless, even sleeping progress, just this game can fuck off.
