Today's my birthday, which means October is nearly over and winter training begins in earnest. Targeted weight reduction until end of March then intensity ramps up.

Hadn't run longer than 5s for about 8 years. Did a midweek 7km practice at home and felt awful but set me up for the 10 nicely.
Surprised myself with a sub hour 10 at Standalone a few weeks back. Pacing was my tactic, keeping it steady.
Damn, I wish I was doing the Etape this year. Stacked with iconic climbs.
