“Premflix” for the start of the 26/27 season!
Never happening sadly. In the unlikely event we ever move stadium, the Stamford Bridge site will be sold/developed to finance the move.
What you saw today was an absolute bin fire of international diplomacy. I’d much prefer if our leaders didn’t shoot their mouths off and regret it later.
Exactly. There at least needs to be an attempt to get Zelensky/Trump back in the same room again. Would rather Starmer was focusing on that rather than tweeting pointless platitudes.
Agreed. It’s called being a grown up, rather firing off counter productive social media posts.

Yes, definitely go. Meeting up with any of the US supporters groups is always a blast.
So sorry mate. Just about to go through a similar thing with my Dad.
Spot on. Only works if there’s a reciprocal purchase. That means we’re limited to doing deals with clubs that have similar PSR problems eg Villa, Leicester, United.
There’s a plentiful supply of mid level talent from all over the world, that can be picked up for less than £25 million. You’re only going to pay #Chelsea prices if you’re in a similar PSR hole, and you also need a reciprocal deal to offload a player for an above market price.
Agreed. Their PSR problems are more problematic than ours. Same with Leicester.
Yes, that’s almost certainly the basis of the deal. There’s likely a big PSR aspect in play. There’s no way Villa are paying straight cash for Disasi.
I suspect without outgoings, #Chelsea don’t have either the cash or PSR headroom to bring in new players. As much as we need reinforcements, we also need to offload our deadwood. Why isn’t that happening? Is the model broken? Where’s the demand for the players we want to sell?
Particularly in comparison to some of the penalties that have gone in Philadelphia’s favor.
Terrible game management.
100% agree.
If ever there was a statement that hasn’t aged well!! We’re now behind Spurs in the Football Money League and bottom of the “big six”.
Me too. Sadly our billion pound transfer splurge has left us with little or no PSR headroom. And to compound matters, our commercial performance off the field has been woeful.
Given our lackluster commercial performance off the field, I suspect this will be the model going forward. Big stand alone signings are a thing of the past.
On the proposed #Garnacho signing, assuming it goes ahead, it wouldn’t surprise me if #Chelsea send Christoper Nkunku to United as part of the deal. There’s likely a PSR element/dynamic in play. We rarely do this type of deal without one.
The scary part about so many of #Chelsea’s recent deals - there appears to be an additional undisclosed obligation eg Caicedo+Sanchez; Maresca+KDH; Gallagher out, Felix in; Maatsen out, Kellyman in. Clubs aren’t dealing with us unless there’s a sweetener.
Sorry I mean Washington.
I’m with your Dad. 82/83 was the year when the UK fell in love with the Redskins.
Agreed. We’ll almost certainly see more of players being banished to the “bomb squad” to try and force a transfer. Hasn’t worked well with the likes of Chilwell or Chalobah.
Their strategy is fundamentally flawed - there just isn’t the market/buyers out there for our second string unwanted players at the prices we’re demanding.
Difficult to understand why Southampton stuck with Russell Martin for as long as they did. In addition to Big Lesley, Mateus Fernandes, Dibling, Sulemana and Aribo are all decent players.
Ouch. Even worse than I had expected.
Not a fan but isnt this the owners' model? Theyre asset traders, stockpiling players partly in the hope of selling for a profit. In practice Im not convinced the demand for players like Veiga is sufficiently strong to make the strategy viable particularly as clubs are alive to our PSR challenges
.
Agreed. Very average at its best.
Agreed. The transition hasn’t been a as smooth as I’d hoped.
