Today was my first visit to the studio for more than a month due to sciatica and lower lumbar pain. I have added some more items to purchase on my outer wall and hope to see everyone again soon!

I'm relieved to hear that the SAQA board has chosen to remove the entire exhibit from AQS. They continue to support the integrity of the art and the work of the artists behind it.

These quilts were recently withheld from an exhibit at AQS. Censorship is a very sensitive subject these days. Art is an extension of speech and often starts conversations on that subject. Is this suppression of speech? Or are they right to choose what they deem acceptable?

This was made as a guild challenge to make my own art cover for "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia Butler.. The book seems all to relevant right now.
