The Scootiverse!
Scoot McNeary's Halt and Catch Fire character and Scoot McNeary's Narcos character are both Texans in the same canonical universe. Only mentioning now because I forgot to tweet it years ago. Totally worth it.
I'm actually very (always) glad you reached out. A good reminder to order Small Time for my classroom.
I hope to have something ready by summer's end. This is me cursing myself.
Can't believe Dortmund blew that one. Jesus.
Getting into @mrbullbull.bsky.social was huge for me. Great journal, great editors, great writing. Let's keep this party going.
Italians not breaking out Freed From Desire for the opening or closing ceremonies seems wrong to me.
Thomas Kinkaide painting of X-Men playing baseball.
I mean, Kinkaide did give us this, though.
"The Gunshine State" by @joeyhedger.bsky.social in @variantlit.bsky.social is one of the best short stories I've read in some time. Really, really, really great.
Absolutely incoherent programming.
Well, there were these shifts that were genuinely unexpected as he moved from pov to pov, and then when he took me to the dystopian novella written by the ghost of Dickens, I just started muttering in awe. It's really fun when you see choices you'd never think to make (and he did it over and over).
That song should be our national anthem.
My point is they should showcase quality British television like Benny Hill.

Canβt tell you what this means to me, Jeff. A fellow writer who has decided to read only small press books this year wrote to me and asked me to recommend what I thought were the best in the last ten years. I recommended three. Hashtag was one of them.
This book is, and I don't say this lightly, one of the most rewarding reading experiences of my life.
I almost posted about a hockey drama set on a dreaded sunny day at the cemetery gates called Keated and Yeated Rivalry, but then thought better of it, so I guess we're all good now, you know?
This early review is a drop of sunshine in an otherwise dark and stormy Jan/Feb. βStitch takes the reader deeper into a book than any author has ever done beforeβ. Deepest thanks. #books #booksky

Hey guys, let's all meet at the local Al Green's.
Read my new story about life and death at a community garden. GOD OF THE COMMUNITY GARDEN at the one and only @burialmagazine.bsky.social
Feel like Marshawn was talking directly to me.
TACOMA by Aaron Burch

Talking about Super Bowl commercials used to be delighting in twerking frogs or chuckling over an incontinent Horatio Nelson on the toilet, etc. Now it's all about how much we despise crypto and AI.
If I wanted to sell a product, I too would use the name Elon. People love that.
