Soccer stadium, large fabric flag of Mae Borowski from Night In The Woods, holding an axe and wearing team colors. There is text in the Night In The Woods title font on the right and left. It reads "From Stonewall a brick and Portland an Axe, Respect our pride or expect our wrath." It's cool
I don't think I need to clarify my stance on the topic but these soccer folks summed it up
Pfft! 2 tacos and 2 beers an hour is TOTALLY doable. Then rest up for a bit and run… uh, on second thought…

this is what anyone under, like, 25 looks like to me now
I know that because I'm a physician, I have a heightened reaction to a story like this.
But seriously, y'all, this is a big deal. 83 people died, mostly kids under 5, as a result of RFK Jr's antivax messaging with Samoan public health officials.
And he lied about it, under oath, to Congress.
Now we know where Trump got the narrative "paid protestors" from. His accusations always let us know what to look for...

IF THEY CALL ME A DOMESTIC TERRORIST If they gun me down in my own street someday may my crime be compassion. May the record show from every angle that I was helping a woman up after they pushed her to the ground, that not even their weapons could stop me from extending my hand to those in need, that I was a walking example of the best my elders taught me - that everyone is equal and worthy of defending. If they tell the nation, from the highest podium, that I was a domestic terrorist, let it be known that my radical act was believing the best in people when they wanted nothing more than to divide us. the reaction to the death of Scott Adams should contrast particularly with the (eventual) death of Bill Watterson, who will be mourned in the style of the ancient Pharaohs, with all of Ohio entombed alive along with him
This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.
Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.
That’s more of a “personal vehicle” kinda thing with them.
Yeah it’s good

News Team, Thank you for the notes and texts. I apologize for not reaching out earlier. I learned on Saturday that Bari Weiss spiked our story, INSIDE CECOT, which was supposed to air tonight. We (Ori and I) asked for a call to discuss her decision. She did not afford us that courtesy/opportunity. Our story was screened five times and cleared by both CBS attorneys and Standards and Practices. It is factually correct. In my view, pulling it now-after every rigorous internal check has been met is not an editorial decision, it is a political one. We requested responses to questions and/or interviews with DHS, the White House, and the State Department. Government silence is a statement, not a VETO. Their refusal to be interviewed is a tactical maneuver designed to kill the story. If the administration's refusal to participate becomes a valid reason to spike a story, we
have effectively handed them a "kill switch" for any reporting they find inconvenient. If the standard for airing a story becomes "the government must agree to be interviewed," then the government effectively gains control over the 60 Minutes broadcast. We go from an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state. These men risked their lives to speak with us. We have a moral and professional obligation to the sources who entrusted us with their stories. Abandoning them now is a betrayal of the most basic tenet of journalism: giving voice to the voiceless. CBS spiked the Jeffrey Wigand interview due to legal concerns, nearly destroying the credibility of this broadcast. It took years to recover from that "low point." By pulling this story to shield an administration, we are repeating that history, but for political optics rather than legal ones.
We have been promoting this story on social media for days. Our viewers are expecting it. When it fails to air without a credible explanation, the public will correctly identify this as corporate censorship. We are trading 50 years of "Gold Standard" reputation for a single week of political quiet. I care too much about this broadcast to watch it be dismantled without a fight. Sharyn
Per NY Times’s Michael Grynbaum on X, this is Sharyn Alfonsi’s email to her “60 Minutes” colleagues in full:
Some photos of Haitians running in the streets. There's smoke in the background. It looks like political disorder.
A Haitian man stands next to a wall with some barbed wire behind him. The original Magnum caption said the man felt Haiti was a prison and he dreamed of making it to the United States. He wanted to be a rapper.
Some men take a break from building a boat.
A boat sets sail far off into the distance.
A story I found about Haiti:
In 1999, a group of Haitians were tired of political disorder and dreamed of a better life in the United States. So they built a small, 23-foot boat by hand using pine trees, scrap wood, and used nails. They called the boat "Believe in God."
Lord, please never let me be hated by someone as skilled as that Vanity Fair photographer. Let all my haters be incompetent.
