Music or no? Does it add to scenes, or detract from them? Personally, I don't think it actually does much, and have been ripped out of immersion by a poorly placed track.

Someone told me about the game ‘Let These Mermaids Touch Your Dick Maybe’ and of course I had to see if it was real. Then buy it. Then read it.

That said, y’all have some wild imaginations and I love what you come up with.
As far as other systems that have ‘handles’ like that, I can’t think of one off the top of my head. Truthfully I just read this and got excited to talk about it

The person who was born with with potential for great strength but barely trained it (6x3) is going to have a wildly different approach or thought process to the one who was born a little weaker but trained every day to be stronger (3x6). Mechanically, same score. Approach wise? Way different

I personally love that as a concept. It feels like one of those things I’d read in a book and then excitedly text my players about.
While it may not actually do anything mechanically, I imagine that for players who really want to get into their characters it could be a goldmine.

I’ve enjoyed Jason Cordova’s systems and works so far! I’m excited to see this one in action.
Oh no, I log in and see lots of talk about TTRPG discourse being exhausting today.
I think I must have missed something… and at this point, I’m afraid to ask what.
We have a the next few systems we’d like to do 4-8 episode campaigns for.
- Daggerheart
- Blades in the Dark
- Veil of the Void
- Paranoia
My question is, what are some systems that lend themselves especially well to one shots, like Prequel and Brindlewood Bay?

And the fact that the book has a guide on exactly how to incorporate the results into the story just shows that James Quigley and Ethan Yen knew exactly what they were doing and who they were writing for.
I love the concept, I’m excited to see how it plays out in execution.
Oh that’s the worst. People definitely stay fairly wrapped up in the big two and get locked in.
I admit the systems are flexible and can do pretty much anything… but those specialty systems that just capture a vibe and do it right are *chef’s kiss*
I just learned about Prequel and immediately had to grab it.
Tony will be running Daggerheart after I wrap Avatar. What better way to start that campaign than by having a party of legendary heroes get TPKed by the BBEG?
…bonus points, making our group’s significant others play Prequel.
