You could technically just buy an RTX 5080 to put into your current system with the 3090 to do dual instance rendering with blender on the two GPU’s but I don’t know if your PSU can exactly handle a RTX 3090 and say a RTX 5080 or even an RTX 5070 Ti if you just wanted to boost rendering speed!

Yeah, it’s less Vram but you get a much more efficient and faster GPU core for rendering and on top of that the VRAM is a lot whole faster so it can process all the scenes faster and do the calculations it needs. Plus you’ll get much more life out of it with future updates!

I wouldn’t recommend you get the Aorus RTX 5090 AI Box for the price and the performance decrease you’ll be getting via the thunderbolt bottleneck with PCIE lanes. It would be better to just save some money and still get a huge boost with the RTX 5080.
