Colleges (and universities) in the USA are very expensive for 99% of prospective students and their families; they have to consider ROI. If the governments in the USA went back to subsidizing tuition heavily, colleges could be seen as places for becoming educated, cultured, etc.
One thing that pisses me off is that Western countries complain endlessly about high levels of immigration and then, at the same time, use their military and intelligence capabilities to imperialisitcally topple regimes they don't like, cause mass destabilization, and consequently, more immigration

The Dems should have done more to ensure no 2nd Trump POTUS term. Biden shouldn’t have sought re-election. Kamala Harris shouldn’t have been pushed in as the Dem nom so late.
