Yup. It should have been Izaiah coming in as a cop and Jacob being the point person with Smitty stumbling onto the case. It’s more plausible given his missteps in his younger years.

Jordi is really good in this role. I appreciate the layers he’s shown but pairing him w/ Ashely is a mistake. I would have rather it be Shanice or even Eva. With her involvement in the clinic it would have given her something interesting. Instead all she does is make out w/ Izaiah.

I know the writers want the audience to forget all of what Leslie has done and let her go around without any static from the audience. But it won’t happen, even if Kat falls in line. You shouldn’t have made Leslie a dirtbag who’s never punished. Let her pay. My goodness.

The writers agenda to act as though Kat is like Leslie is LUDICROUS. Also, the Dupree method of ignoring Leslie is WEAK. Kat is the only one standing on business.

I’ve watched & read a LOT of mysteries & crime stories to know that the way Jacob & Smitty are carrying on is not the way to go about an undercover investigation.
