Oh trust me, middle school me murdered some coolattas back in the day. I was a fiend.
But my Dunkin is close to a Cumbys so coolattas often lose the battle to chill zones by them being like a dollar.
Also I don’t drink coffee so I’m mostly grading on that I swing by Dunkin for two glazed, two hash for breakfast sometimes as a treat, but I don’t complain if there’s a Honey Dew.
I like their flavored lemonades, they’re a fun summer treat :(
Also like…Honey Dew is definitely not a healthier option lol, they’re just as decadent.

I’m trying to be chiller and more understanding, that feels so much more natural to me, it’s how I was before the internet “commentary to comment on” thing took over, and like…I’d hope I don’t need to prove my value through “dunks”, I’d rather be respected for the things I make.
Honestly I feel like these websites push us to be antagonistic towards each other to prove our worth, I absolutely fell for it in my early days on here, I felt like I had to prove I was smart. Turns out 19-21 is really young to have a platform, I regret it now.
I’m nowhere near that level but there is a part of me watching this happen while finishing my video on Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker and I’m just like… “well it’s not like there ISN’T potential there. At least as much as Pathologic or Fear and Hunger.”

I see it a lot when a niche thing goes viral in a video essay, like Pathologic and Fear and Hunger exploding in fandom after Hbomb and Eyepatch Wolf’s vids. It’s cool to see things break the arthouse containment.
To be fair I kinda love it as a film buff, it’s fun to see fanart and cute designs and fandom posting but for things I enjoy, but didn’t expect to have that kind of fandom.
I can’t tell if Nirvanna the Band the Show is really blowing up or my algorithm is just zeroed in on it. I’ve seen so much fucking fanart, way more than I’d expect from a movie that I thought was pretty niche.
Also a bunch of it is gay ship art but that’s besides the point.
I felt sluggish and like I don’t do anything special and then I realized…wait I feel like that because I’m tired and haven’t had much reason to glam up and go out with the weather. I’m actually like an incredible catch with deep nerdy interests that STRANGERS are entertained by!
