Hi @pbhbos.bsky.social thank you for your nice question. Normally neuro-behavioural stress occurs significantly during prolonged artificial nightlight exposure. Natural light does not cause severe effects. There is inherent adaptive mechanisms to deal with prolonged natural daylight and darkness.

Our paper is out!
We have indicated that Artificial Light at Night (ALAN) can induce neuro-behavioural alterations in a freshwater prawn.
