melony, pleasantly plump and mildly irritated, shuffling towards what can only be assumed as a ice cream parlor set up on a boardwalk at a beach somewhere while holding a vanillite ice cream cone. her top barely covers her chest and the same for her shorts to her butt while in sock sandals because i'm not lazy and added the boardwalk last minute with no explanation. look i've been drawing one melony a month for like 30 something months now, i'm old, give me a break.
melony ain't happy and if mama ain't happy then nobody happy, not even you (she ordered the vanilluxe and got the vanillite instead)
melony, but rather "mildly" heavier than her usual depictions (outside of me anyway), lazing about on a surprisingly sturdy futon wearing loungewear with snowflakes running down the side of her pants and in the middle of her top loosely depicting the circhester city gym iconography (in shield anyway), with a glob of chocolate ice cream in her left hand slowly going about eating it out of a 69 (nice) ounce tub of ice cream. also the lid's on the floor, with melony mildly impatient about gordie (assumedly) not picking it up when she's right there. what you think she's going to wobble over just to get that piece of plastic? that takes too much effort, besides that isn't even ice cream, you really need to think more.
lounging in front of the tv on the couch shoveling handfuls of ice cream into your mouth? just another saturday night for melony.

In the edited screenshot, Daphne has kept her defensive hand gesture, and she's paired it with an awkward, apologetic smile. Her mom looks at her slyly, a mean comment poised on her smirking lips. It's been years since Daphne left to go solve mysteries around the country, and she's returned home a fatty. She has chubby cheeks and a double chin, large sloping breasts that might be more impressive if they weren't dwarfed by the slab of belly flab they're draped over. Her imposing gut folds over onto her lap and her legs are wide and lumpy with rolls of fat. She loves her new dimensions, but understands why her mother has done nothing but pelt her with weight loss advice. Fred and Scooby look annoyed by Nan's tactless approach.
