We may or may not have got a scan 👀👀👀
But also I cannot thank the AMAZING folks at Oxford Archaeology for giving me the best day ever and going over and beyond to combine our shared loves for mini painting and archaeology
They Even gave me a demo of how they would have ground pigments and made paint and cast their own metal minis!

I'm choosing to keep the identity of the mini A FUN SURPRISE caus Holy smokes I was NOT expecting them to be able to clean it up as well as they did
Aaaand he's actually a very iconic and familiar character too 👀
But ye I got to hold him & SCAN HIM to hopefully bring him to my Painting table soon!

The box includes ALL FIVE of the lil guys and they're still BIG!
But also small compared to our usual Rascal range! 🥹

The whole experience has been wild, I love old minis and this one is unlike any I've ever painted!

Infinity Lament miniature showing a lot of wet blends.
Watching @roguehobbies.bsky.social glazing video reconfirms (for me) my conviction that glazing blends is for when you want absolute, almost mathematical control over your transitions, at the cost of time. Wet blending will remain my go to 90% of the time for its speed, if it lacks a little control.

Yesterday I was invited by Bandai and the British Museum to the press viewing of their latest exhibition Samurai!!
It was sooo amazing, all of the items are ABSOLUTELY stunning and the set dressing and lighting too is just wonderful you guys defo have to see it if you get a chance!

Tom got me this incredible @roguehobbies.bsky.social Goblin Knight for Christmas, and I love him. The level of detail on this wee guy is incredible, but also mildly terrifying. If anyone needs me, I'll be painting practice Warhammers for the next while so that I can do him justice.
