Several years from now, a thoughtful scholar will write a book called β€œTrump’s Willing Executioners” about how a nation of 340 million descended into abject depravity.

I’m currently writing a book about what’s really wrong with #SCOTUS and how to fix it.

Suffice it to say, this ain’t it:

The phrasing of that post indicates that the US and Israel will now start destroying IRGC and Artesh infantry. Since those troops are marbled among civilian communities and Trump administration has denounced "stupid rules of engagement" it's a path to non-combatant mass casualties

23 year old Ruben Ray Martinez’s last words? β€œI’m sorry sir”.

ICE shot him 3 times and killed him.

Renee Good’s last words? β€œIt’s ok I’m not mad”.

Alex Pretti’s last words? β€œAre you ok?”

These are the people DHS calls domestic terrorists. Threats. Aggressors.

Abolish ICE

Gulf allies complain US didn't notify them of Iran attacks and ignored their warnings, sources say Officials say Iran’s retaliatory attacks in the Middle East over strikes from Israel and the U.S. have left some of America’s partners in the Gulf frustrated over a lack of notice or adequate defense.

Gulf allies (rightly) claim that the U.S. failed to adequately warn or protect them from eminently predictable waves of Iranian drone attacks.

Hegseth’s new Muscular Manly Murder Drone Strategy sure seems to be spectacularly imploding right now.

Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack. They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries. They have said,
"Thank you President Trump." I have said,
"You're welcome!" Iran is no longer the "Bully of the Middle East," they are, instead, "THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST," and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse! Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran's bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J.

DOJ releases Epstein files with accusations against Trump Over the course of four interviews in 2019, a woman told the FBI that Epstein and Trump sexually abused her in the 1980s.

"A DOJ source told the Miami Herald that agents found her to be credible – and that they would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying."

There probably has not been a greater single obstacle to peacemaking in the last century than the United Nations Security Council, which as constructed manages to both inspire vigilante aggression and be the source of preferential denials of R2P

As one of the fifteen or twenty genuine Liberal Internationalists in the US, all of whom are active on this site, I do think we really need to confront the fact that a genuine liberal-democratic "rules based" international order cannot be underpinned by arbitrary and hegemonic US military might.

We're in a state of hostilities. Neither party has any obligation to not attempt to strike the forces of the other party when given the opportunity.

Look, I think the correct way to view this whole submarine thing is to ask it this way.

Are the Iranians currently under any obligation whatsoever not to sink a troop transport in the Mediterranean carrying U.S. troops right now if they could?

A corollary to this, it would be a legitimate use of force, not terrorism, for Iranian regular forces to strike a US Navy base (including Newport), or the Pentagon.

It was pretty quiet in the Gulf today as far as I could tell, but Iraq is starting to look like a real clusterfuck. Bombings in Erbil, a major fire in an oil field in Basra, a rocket (?) attack on Baghdad Airport, and whatever the hell we're doing in Mosul.
