This was also the case with publicly accessible content when I was in charge of such things at @ads-update.bsky.social. Images included research and teaching in forensics. We attached warnings as click through, but no specific age verification. That was early 2000s so probably updated since then.

Today in bureaucratic processes that have lost the run of themselves: 'participants must be aged 18 years and over'. It's quite hard to be simultaneously 18 and older than 18. I think they mean 'participants must be aged 18 years or over'.
