I am a history teacher that has loved Davy Crockett since my dad showed me that Fess Parker Disney movie when I was a kid. That is awesome that yo found that book in a dollar bin. A local shop near me had that issue a year or two ago and it was out of my price range.

Bought this today. Found a nice Carmine Infantino signature on the inside. Love finding cool stuff like this.

This will be one of my favorite days in my classroom for the rest of my career.

This may have been my first horror movie as well. I still own the comic adaptation that Marvel did. It is just so bad, it is great. Will always be one of my favorites.

I just read the first two issues of BF&DM with my son and daughter (10 & 7) and we are hooked and loving it.

This came about because it was Cowboy Day at my high school. I brought my guitar. One of my classes asked me if I would write a song about 6-7. Challenge accepted.

And yes…I have owned that Brooks & Dunn shirt since I was 17. Still fits.

Teaching tip: When students are driving you crazy with things like 6-7, don’t get mad at them. Embrace it. The relationships you form and the moments you create will mean more than any standard you could ever teach them.

This might be controversial, but I am going to say it anyway. We need to go back to selling monster cereals year round. It is October 1 and almost everywhere around here has almost sold out. Count Chocula is my favorite cereal of all time and it is not fair we only get it from August to October.

Great list! The Great Darkness Saga and Damage Control were both books I read over and over as a kid.

I have been reading this book from the start and it might just be my favorite thing I have read the last few years. I have enjoyed everything that Ghost Machine has put out, but there is something very special about this book.

Today might have been the Monday-est Monday that ever Monday-ed. Four more days this week like today is not an exciting thought.

I wonder how many people actually watch the pre-show? I know I haven’t watched a pre-show since they stopped having matches on them. 😆

I loved this film. James Gunn gets Superman. Everything about this movie showcases what I have always loved about DC Comics. This film is how Superman is supposed to be. It is a fun movie from beginning to end and I can’t wait to see it again.

One of my favorite movies of all time. There is so much to that movie that I love. The right person could build a whole universe around it.
