Resonant Bodies/ Shared Sounds is the second edition of Luail’s Moving in Collaboration programme and is supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Shared Island Civic Society Fund, along with our funders, The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.

We encourage applications from professional choreographers and composers regardless of ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, race or socio-economic circumstances. We are open to discussing additional supports for those who require them.

Following this process, one choreographer and one composer may be invited to undertake further creative development in Dublin with the Luail Ensemble in November.

The residency will bring 21 artists together for creative exchange from 20–25 July 2026 at the Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast, guided by choreographers Jonathan Burrows and Liz Roche, and composer Brian Irvine.

The company began the year with Lucas Condró Asymmetrical-Motion workshops, including sessions with the ensemble and an open workshop for the wider community. Three days of tuning into our bodies, and noticing the details in how we move was a perfect way to start the year.
