Things I liked about the Murderbot trailer: Gurathin's black nail polish, "Stuck in the Middle with You," MB's suit, (most of) the graphics, Sanctuary Moon, the fact that they're leaning into the humour, the clear affection between the survey team members, Ratthi's "I am just being respectful"

Reading Conclave after seeing the movie is an interesting experience. They made everyone much younger, in the film, and skipped the focus on the sheer physical difficulty of running a conclave at age 75

When I criticize the actions of the protagonist and people jump in to say "SO YOU THINK THE VILLAIN'S ACTIONS ARE OKAY? WHY AREN'T YOU CRITICIZING HIM???" Because he's the villain! I don't have to point out that Sauron does bad things, the book does that for me.
