I always carried one to wipe the sweat off my face when I got overheated or broke into the sweats because of pain (bad back, bad leg and now with bonus bad foot - and not the one already on the bad leg! Yes, bilateral gimpyness!!)

The one time my hubby at the time was driving me to the airport and started worrying aloud about aircraft disasters, happened to be the one time the plane caught fire at FL350 and had to do an emergency landing in Salt Lake City!
And as opposed to back then when it was five or six colours, nowadays you need to drag out a Pantone colour wheel to translate all the colours. (βIs that purple or aubergine?β)
Thatβs great! Ive never done a gay cruise (though the QE2 should count as one give to total number of gay guys aboard). Where are you sailing?
I miss my cruises. π
Slunk back to his cabin? Ooo, are you on a cruise right now??
When I pointed out some were obvious failures they removed just those ones and refused to do a full review of the rest. I honestly feel like the one-eyed man in the world of the blind. Even our programmers are using it, and they of everyone should know better, but Iβm just an βold fuddy-duddy.β
Our firm has been pushing people to use ai and CoPilot wherever they can. One of my project managers used it to create a project plan deliberately restricting it to information contained in two documents.
Instead it hallucinated a bunch of steps and milestone and everyone went with it.
Good luck! Iβve been on Ozempic (which maxes out at 1.0 mg shots in Canada) for about two years now. I lost 20lbs in the first six months and not much since, but my blood sugars have been much better except for the last three months.
The problem is I still eat like a piggy. π€·ββοΈ
I actually wonder if a government owned pharmaceutical co. would be the answer: R&D, new drugs and generics produced without the requirement of a profit margin - kind of like our hospitals and utilities here in Canada.
Hmm depends on how you define cured, I guess. Medication can βcureβ an outbreak, like an STI, but it canβt necessarily prevent you from getting it again. But most pharmaceutical cos will focus their development on meds that have an ongoing demand rather than one-shot solutions.
Iβm like that when I have a plain βgentlemanβsβ manicure. βI just spent $45 on a clip, a cuticle push, and a high sheen buff, Iβm not doing *anything* to mar those digits now!β
We require a live demo of the swimsuit problem. For β¦ science.
Love to have been a fly on the wall for his subsequent FAA medical!
NS Savannah, my pretty little angel. π
βIsnβt that special.β
Why, my friend, have you been attracting these a-holes?!
At least as soon as I passed 60 people just stopped messaging me, except for the twice annually mash notes from men over 70. Not that their age is at all disqualifying, it just Iβve become a solid misanthrope.
Age Verification?
Two words: Punch Cards.
Story. Of. My. Life.
Also a factor for why making deals with the United States is globally dangerous.
Plus Trump ignores any deals or treaties heβs previously made when he suddenly wants more.
Well at least it doesnβt go up to your knee like a full size air boot. Make sure you wear a shoe on your other foot walking around the house. After 6 weeks barefoot with one boot I had to relearn how to walk with two level feet.
βKojak, Bang-Bangβ
Theyβre actually pretty cheap now, and fairly easy to install on your existing toilet. I installed my last one in 2010 and finally replaced it in 2023 after the cat broke it (we were trying to catch her to take her to the vet and she put up a fight while hiding between the toilet and the bathtub.)
Iβm in this skeet and although I donβt like it, itβs nice to know Iβm not the only one, nor is it necessarily a symptom of aging. The not remembering part specifically.
Regardless, Iβll often just crank the bidet attachment up to full blast. Not gonna hurt anything cleaning if itβs already clean.π€·ββοΈ
Here I be. Granted thereβs a lot more white in the goatee, and Iβve gone full beard now, but the hats stay mostly the same. I decided to buy several identical ones when I was last in Panama City in 2013. Theyβre made in Ecuador, but Teddy Roosevelt misnamed them βPanama hatsβ and the name stuck.
(And while I do have the usual scalp visibility at my crown, I do not have a bald spot. Iβm 61 and my hair keeps growing like weeds.)
I tend to go for a Panama hat myself. Off white, tropical, with a black hatband. I like wearing hats, and that one works if Iβm sailing into warm waters. I could wear more, but I canβt shake the feeling people see me as an old idiot trying to look like a 20 something, and hiding a bald spot.
it really underlines the mafia mentality of this government when you remember that the justice department has nothing to do with ICE. itβs like bribing the interior secretary to call off the IRS
Her style is amazing. And she wears fedoras too!
βDonβt you EVER wear anything else?β
βYeah, sometimes I like to wear something low cut and slinky.β
Go for the Inspector Lowbeer look from The Peripheral (though in the book sheβs MTF, I think sheβs got a very masc style).
