How Candidates Are Using Winks and Posts to Seek Crypto and A.I. Cash
We need campaign finance reform so badly. Overturning Citizens United, bringing in ranked choice voting, all would be game changers. Our elected officials cannot and will not represent the people if they can be bought.

i don't think most anti-vaccine parents are bad parents. we are drowning in medical misinformation. it's really hard! and a lot of these parents are more accurately described as vaccine hesitant than ideologically opposed. they have good faith questions that deserve to be answered with compassion.

Cannot tell you how depressing it is to read that people are simply refusing to read nonfiction after youβve worked really hard to write a nonfiction book you believe in, in case anyone is wondering why Iβm posting so much about my book which comes out in a few weeks #BookSky

At least 13 hospitals and health facilities hit during attacks on Iran, WHO says
Global health body investigating reports that four medics are among the 1,230 people killed in Iran since start of war
Schools and hospitals filled with students, teachers, patients, healthcare workers, and their loved ones, should never be a target of war.
May those in power be held to account.

We identified 12 shootings by federal agents that led to the deaths or injuries of citizens & immigrants since Sept.
Nearly every time, the Trump admin blamed the injured and dead. Experts say this apparent lack of accountability demands that local authorities step up to investigate federal agents.

Iranβs leadership was horrific towards Iranians. That said I canβt think of an example where USA assassinated a head of state and regular people of that country were better off for it. If there is a case itβs the exception. Innocent Iranians are the ones who will pay dearly. This is not liberation.

I continue to be fascinated by the phenomenon whereby an expert engages with any of the LLMs on their field of expertise and is instantly horrified by the wrong answers, and then goes on to use it for things they are not experts in as though it wonβt be just as bad for those.

Strongly recommend this excellent piece. It actually understates the US failure: Brazil and S. Korea arenβt outliers. Quite the opposite. Since 2010, 31 democracies have convicted or banned leaders from office. Accountability is the democratic norm. America is the sole outlier.

Opinion | Iβm an Immunologist. I Grew Up Unvaccinated.
This is really good. Has so much to say not only about vaccination but also on how to have transformative conversations that really can help folks change their minds.
Sharing facts isnβt enough. We have to start with empathy and asking questions for understanding.

How America Chose Not to Hold the Powerful to Account
Our national project of elite impunity
After the arrests of powerful men across the world, you might be asking why the US has so much trouble holding its leaders accountable for lawbreaking. Since Nixon, all three branches of government have worked hard to ensure they can break the law with impunity www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
