FaulknerBrowns Architects reveal £68.7m scheme for Kings Hall Hackney Work has started on the £68.7 million refurbishment of the historic Kings Hall Leisure Centre in Hackney, with a planned reopening in early 2029.

Fantastic to see GLL continuing to roll out their strategic plan. Leisure is seeing growth and investment across the sector to meet public demand, and so it's no surprise to see this happening as they enhance key sites within their estate.

Study to consider development of open-air 'lido' pool in Cork city A variety of benefits associated with swimming were raised in the submissions including that a lido can act as a community building asset.

Work is underway on a river-use study which will consider the development of a lido or a public open-air swimming pool in #Cork city.

Thinking about #WorldLakeDay and reckon these would be a good idea : Pontoon floating pools

Ideal for lakes or reservoirs as they fit together like a jigsaw to allow for a variety of pool sizes.
Could be a great temporary project in our Inniscarra Reservoir, while we wait for our #LidoCork Project.
